Bake'n Deck comes in two forms: the free, open-source baken command-line tool and Bake'n Deck for Mac on the Mac App Store. Both share the same processing engine.

Report a problem or ask a question
- No GitHub account? Use the web form. It files the report for you and hands back a private link you can use to follow the thread and reply. It asks for no contact details and stores none.
- Got a GitHub account? Open an issue at github.com/M-Igashi/baken/issues directly.
- Either way, please include your macOS or OS version, the Bake'n Deck version, and, for XML problems, a small excerpt of the exported rekordbox XML with the affected track.
- Anything personal, such as an App Store receipt or a purchase question, belongs in the private form instead. It reaches a private inbox and is never published. The issue tracker is public and permanent, so keep personal details out of it.

Common questions
- Will it break my rekordbox library? No. Gain is written into the audio file in place so cues and beatgrids stay linked. The playlist sorter and the CDJ-safe transcoder only ever read and write an exported XML, never the rekordbox database. USB Export reads that XML and rekordbox's analysis files, and writes only to the stick.
- Where is the backup? The loudness tool offers a backup before it touches anything. By default it goes into a
backup folder next to your tracks, marked so later runs skip it.
- Keys are not sorting. Update: Bake'n Deck for Mac from 1.2.0 and
baken from 4.2.0 read Classic key names (Am, F#m) as well as Alphanumeric ones, so rekordbox's key display setting no longer matters. Tracks without a key in the XML sort last.
Third-party software
Bake'n Deck for Mac bundles FFmpeg and libsoxr under the LGPL 2.1 and LAME under the GNU Library GPL 2. Versions, source tarball hashes, the build options and the LGPL source offer are on the third-party software page.

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
